This year our silent auction will support Meals on Wheels of San Francisco, whose agency's mission of delivering nutritious balanced meals to homebound seniors in San Francisco has remained the same since their founding in 1970.

Recently launched, the San Francisco Natives in Action, is looking for opportunities for members of our community to give back to their beloved community in a hands on way. One event was to help out the Meals on Wheels at their facility by making personalized birthday cards for some of the 1600 seniors they serve.

Also, in support of Meals on Wheels, there has been a Soap and Sock for Homebound Seniors Drive. The drive is asking for bars or soap and slipper socks (rubberized grip on the bottom). So far, they have collected over 75 bars of soaps and 15 pairs of socks.
