| Were
you born or raised in San Francisco? Did you attend school
in "The City?" Do you remember the Great Highway
Fun House, the ice skating rink at Cliff House, the Embarcadero
Freeway, or the fries at Tic Tock's?
The
San Francisco Native Jamboree is a chance for us "rare" native
San Franciscans to get together!
It's a Homecoming and a great party! Imagine meeting your high
school sweetheart, or friends you haven't seen in years!
Enjoy
a non-hosted cocktail reception, a delicious dinner, entertainment
and music for your dancing and listening pleasure.
This
year's theme is "San Francisco in Film". San Francisco has played a starring role in many well known films including: The Rock, Bullet, Dirty Harry, Mrs. Doubtfire, The Conversation, Pal Joey, X-Men 3, What’s up Doc, Foul Play, and many others. We’ll celebrate our city’s film fame with a fun filled evening including the announcement of our very own San Francisco Native’s Hall of Fame Film Choice award.
The evening's Master of Ceremonies, Television Personality and Fifth Generation San Francisco Native, Greg Sherwood.
Evening's
Awards:
The
Jamboree will benefit the San
Francisco Conservation Corps,
a community based, non profit organization dedicated to providing job-training
opportunities for our youth while beautifying San Francisco.
Please join
us to support the work of this worthy organization!
"Excellent program, good food, great people!"
